ART INSTRUCTION

Learn, create, and appreciate art while having fun in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy and inspire in the company of other artists while safely relaxing in a stimulating and creative environment. Focus is on the core principles and elements of art as well as aesthetic values, history, and culture.

Qualifications
Lynne Drake is a NYS certified art teacher, graphic designer, and fine artist who also works part time as an art consultant with a national not-for-profit educational program for at-risk students. Lynne’s talents and broad life experiences lends itself to teaching a variety of art classes. Classes consist of diverse populations of students all ages, styles, and levels.

Individual Instruction
Students are assessed individually and encouraged to develop both strengths and weaknesses. Students are challenged to expand their skills beyond that which they are familiar with. Passionate artists intimidated by large groups sometimes find a small nurturing classroom more comfortable and enjoyable. The intimacy of a small studio can be a pleasant alternative to institutional and commercial classrooms.

* Cooperative programs with local schools are also available.
